Night VFR Rating

Prerequisites
You must:

Hold at least a CASA PPL (or higher) with a current flight review.

Minimum 10 hours total cross-country experience.

Valid medical certificate appropriate to licence.

Requirements
Flight Training Requirements (CASA minimums):

Total Night Flight: Minimum 10 hours (including at least 5 hours dual and 5 solo circuits).

Navigation: At least 2 hours dual night navigation exercises.

Instrument Time: Minimum 5 hours instrument flight time (at least 2.5 hours dual at night).
Theory Requirements:

Ground instruction on night operations, navigation planning, meteorology, human factors, lighting requirements, and emergency procedures.
